Provincial police are seeking public assistance in finding Trey Norman Douglas, 18, in connection with a homicide Wednesday night in the Bonnechere Valley area.
Police are warning the public “regarding a safety risk posed by the suspect.”
A 911 call was received at about 9 p.m. Wednesday regarding an unspecified incidence at a home in Bonnechere, about 180 km northwest of Ottawa.
A deceased person was located on the site.
Police did not issue any further information on the victim.
The OPP is seeking a warrant for Trey GAGNON of Laurentian Valley Township, for second-degree murder.
Gagnon is described five feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds (72 kilos) with light brown hair and blue eyes.
He may be using a 2022 black four-door Honda Civic, with Ontario plates: CHTE 185.
“If this person or vehicle is seen, members the public are advised to call 911 immediately. Do not approach this individual,” police said.
“Members of the community can expect to see an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues,” the OPP added.
