A Cincinnati Bengals player has apologized for what he said after his team’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
Sunday night, the Bengals fell to the Chiefs, 23-20, thanks in part to a critical late-hit penalty on Cincinnati defensive player Joseph Ossai.
Following the loss, one Bengals player sounded off on the Ossai penalty.
Pratt has since expressed his regret for the postgame comment, saying he was caught up in the moment.
“I was emotional, I was in the moment, I was wrong,” he announced on Monday afternoon.
The Bengals will look to make an even deeper run in 2023-24.
