Loaded firearm seized, three arrests made after downtown investigation

Toronto police have made three arrests made in a firearm investigation.

On Friday, police, in an investigation in the Bloor St., W., and Spadina Ave. area, seized a loaded firearm, a quantity of drugs and proceeds of crime.

Jevon Reis, 26, of Toronto, Deshawn Penney, 23, of Toronto, and Barrington Cunliffe-McGregor, 24, of Toronto, were all charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of prohibited firearm without holding a licence, unlicensed person possess prohibited weapon, possess prohibited weapon knowing no authority, possess prohibited device knowing no authority, occupy motor vehicle with firearm, possess firearm with altered serial number, store firearm carelessly, possession of schedule I substance for purpose of trafficking, unlawfully possess schedule I substance, and possession of proceed of property obtained by crime.
