College football is coming back to Yankee Stadium next season.
On Monday, Syracuse announced that a college football game will be played at the home of the New York Yankees for the 2023 regular season.
“100 years in the making. ‘Cuse and Pitt will play at @yankeestadium this season for the centennial anniversary of the two schools playing the first football game ever to be held at the venue in 1923,” Syracuse announced.
Syracuse and Pittsburgh will meet at Yankee Stadium in November.
That will be a fun one.
“Seeing a college football game at Yankee Stadium is definitely on my bucket list,” one fan wrote.
“Cannot believe they found a worse place to play this game than the carrier dome,” another fan joked.

Hopefully we get some snow to make it even more fun.
