Get your shovels ready. We’re supposed to be getting snow, snow and more snow.
There was a 30 per cent chance of flurries early this morning, though I’m not seeing evidence that happened at my house. Temperatures will still feel chilly with a daytime high of -8 C and winds from 20 to 40 km/h making it feel closer to -23 with the wind chill this morning and -11 in the afternoon.
Snow is expected to start this evening and amount to 2 to 4 cm overnight.
More snow is expected Tuesday morning, with a 60 per cent chance of flurries. Periods of snow are expected Tuesday evening and into the day on Wednesday.
I’m actually happy to see some fresh snow out there. Things were feeling a little dingy out there since we enjoyed all that warm weather. Some fresh snow will really freshen things up.
